The presented bachelor thesis deals very challenging topic of business mergers. The candite proved sufficient knowledge and skills by conducting the analysis and suggesting the mergers procedure, as well as evaluating the expected effect. Based on this a recommend the thesis for the public defence and suggest an A mark. Question to be answered during the defence: What is the bigger risk that would jeopardise the expected value creation resulting from merging the businesses?

The thesis deals with the topic of acquisitions. The theoretical part provides all the necessary information for the analytical part, including a description of the M&A process, followed by an explanation of private equity funds using the Czech example. The analytical part evaluates the potential acquisition of the selected company. Based on this evaluation, the author provides the steps for a successful acquisition. I find the thesis well prepared and provides a comprehensive picture of the proposed acquisition, including its possible effects.
