The aim of thesis is systematically and objectively evaluate a set of countries and select the best option for international business expansion by employing multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methodologies. The thesis is divided into three main chapters as typical (except for Introduction, Aims, and Conclusion) – Theoretical background, Analysis of the current state and Solution proposals and benefits. The theoretical part of the thesis is processed in a standard way and contains basic theoretical premises related to the problem being solved. The analytical part presents the selected company at first and further identifies decision criteria and variants in individual subchapters, including input data for the decision problem. The chapter is relatively extensive, which seem rather confusing. In addition, from my point of view, it contains some information that is not used by solving decision making problem – e.g. the time series of indicators such as GDP, tissue & hygiene paper market revenue (model works especially with the inputs data 2023) or estimated population of selected EU countries (only four EU countries enter the model). The proposal part, together with the definition of benefits, is focused on the own solution of a multi-criteria decision making problem. Subchapter 3.2 focuses on the calculation of decision criteria weights. It is not clear from Table 8 (p. 60) how the preferences of the decision-maker (CEO of the company) were defined and why only according one decision-maker, when in the introduction of the analytical part it is set that both CEO of the company and head of sales are directly involved in the decision making problem. The same applies to the own evaluation of decision variants. I consider these facts to be the weakness of this part of the work. In subchapter 3.3, the decision making problem with the use of software support is evaluated by three selected methods – WSM, TOPSIS and AHP. In the following subchapter, the obtained results are compared and discussed. The next weakness of this part is the absence of sensitivity analysis of MCDM for a more detailed interpretation of the results. In terms of the formal aspect, the thesis shows slight shortcomings – e.g. low readability of tables 9 to 15, diverse graphics of some tables, incorrect writing of mathematical formulas, Czech text in charts no. 6 and 7. Overall, the thesis corresponds to the terms of the assignment and fulfils the defined aim.   Defence questions: Why have you decided to solve the given decision making problem with the methods you have chosen? Why the sensitivity analysis has not done?
