Manton, Ryan

The project included the development of all architectural design stages and concluded in a comprehensive design solution. The technical aspects of the project were considered and consulted with engineers; however, some parts of the design solution could have been highlighted and discussed sooner. The final proposal was a realistic and well-developed architectural solution that utilised the site analysis.

Přístup studenta ke zpracování B Leana is a dedicated student who calmly worked through the architectural design process. Her site analysis was comprehensive and developed well graphically and was led by various visits to the site in Prague. The site analysis had a strong start however its translation and use in developing design concepts was slow and could have used more experimentation. Once design concepts were developed, the project regained confidence and picked up pace. This stage of the project witnessed a well-considered approach to working with the brief and site and confident decisions led the way to a developed design solution.

Posudek oponenta

Palaščak, Michal

The design is well executed, at a standard level. For a better evaluation I am missing a certain distinctive element.

Urbanistické řešení B The urban concept is predictable. The accessibility of the courtyard is a bonus.
Provozní řešení B The layout of the building is without mistakes. I miss a more diverse flatmix.
Technicko konstrukční řešení B The construction concept is sufficiently detailed.
Architektonické řešení B The design architecture is absolutely standard or even generic. Possible life scenarios on the galleries in front of the apartments would be appreciated.
Formální úroveň A The project is well presented.
