Student Mhannad Al-Anqari has worked initiatively and hardly during the whole semester. He focused on the methods of triple-play service implementation based on ADSL technology using IP DSLAM and VLAN router. He studied and verified the methods of Quality of Service (QoS) assurance and measurement. He realized the configurations and the tests of various approaches in the laboratory. The results of the tests are presented in the text. Therefore I suggest to classify his work as excellent - A.

The candidate performed very good orientation as well as knowledge and skills in problematic of DSL principles, particularly its suitability for IP used for Voice and Video. He performed ATM characteristics seen by IP and Triple Play itself first and follows with description of monitoring SW and finishes with the own target of this Batchelor Theses. The output is performed as the laboratory exercises. The theses is written in good English with minimum of faults or typing errors. The graph 3.4, page 41 is in horizontal axe described in kft instead of meters, 5.4, page 62 is mistakenly written DISLAM. In the list of abbreviation SDH is repeated explanation for SONET instead of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy. CATV in page 90 is described as Cable Antenna TV in original version; today is this term used generally as Cable TV. The thesis may be used as a suitable monograph for actual DSL exploitation problematic. I suggest therefore classify it as excellent - A. Kandidát předvedl velice dobrou orientaci a znalosti v problematice principů DSL, zvláště jejich vhodnosti pro jejich využití v IP přenosech video a hlasu. Nejdříve rozebral vlastnosti a možnosti ATM z pohledu IP a Triple Play, což je následováno popisem monitorovacího SW. Práce vede v závěru k vlastnímu cíli, jehož výstupem jsou laboratorní cvičení. BP je napsána dobrou angličtinou s minimechyb a překlep. Graf 3.4 na str. 41 je na ose vzdálenosti popsán ve stopách namísto v metech, v popisu obr. 5.4 na str. 62 je chybně napsáno IPDISLAM. V seznamu zkratek je pro zkratku SDH opakován význam pro SONET namísto Synchronní Digitální Hierarchie. CATV na str. 90 popsán původním významem pro společné antény, zatímco v současnosti je využívána spíše pro kabelovou televizi obecně. BP předstupe vhodnou monografii pro aktuální problematiku využití DSL. Navrhuji ji tedy klasifikovat výborně - A.
